Mascot costume for the launch of Nerds Gummy Cluster for a university advertisement tour. This animatronic suit had to be lightweight the face made with silicone and ‘nerds’ formed with clay turned into a mould and then made with an expanding lightweight flexible foam. These individual sheets were then formed together to create the body and individually hand painted. I helped with fitting of the sheets to create the structure whilst still being able to move and the mechanism to make the foot removable for access as well as working with a team to hand paint each individual nerd.
